Lots of changes and refurbishments happening throughout Walt Disney World in time for the 50th Anniversary Celebrations. Throughout all the lands at Magic Kingdom we have seen some beautiful updates. Casey Jr.’s Splash & Soak has been slowly but surely getting new paint. We were at Magic Kingdom this week and took some photos of what the progress looks like!
The engine has already received its new paint and the shrubbery covering it have since been removed.

The rest of the train still has a ways to go. Certain elements of the designs have been updated, but some trimmings are still awaiting their new paint. But the Elephant car is definitely up next, they are clearly mid paint job behind the shrubs! The yellow and blue was already touched up, but the golden/bronze hues along the edges of the car are being added.

In fact it looks as though most of the cars are just really in need of the golden/bronze paint along the edges

We are excited to see the final look once Casey Jr. Is completed! Have you ever been to Storybook Circus and visited the Casey Jr.’s Splash & Soak area?! Let us know in the comments!
