Universal has once again reached capacity this morning at 8:10am, just 10 minutes after their posted opening time.

Hotel guests and day ticket re-entry only was the last known update.

Christmas & New Years is typically busy for theme parks. With social distancing on attractions across the board, it makes lines look a lot longer. In some cases they move a bit slower as well to account for cleaning and enhanced safety.

Universal did try to alert guests that the parks would indeed reach capacity today, as they have been consistently reaching their capacity within a few hours of opening. They also gave a phone number for those wishing to have real-time updates about possibly re-opening this afternoon. 407-817-8317.

Are you planning a visit to Universal Orlando Parks on or before New Year’s Day? I would plan accordingly, as Capacity level has been hit earlier every day it seems.

Hours for both parks this week are;
8:00 am – 10:00 pm
