EPCOT has 11 pavilions that showcase different countries around the world, offering up cultural food, drinks, and shopping. It can be overwhelming knowing where the best spots are to eat and drink, what you need to see, and what you can skip. Over the next few weeks, I will feature one pavilion a week and show you Insiders what there is to see and do and eat in each country. It will be so much fun, and I can’t wait to take all of you Insiders on this exploration! So far, we have explored Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, American Adventure (U.S.), Japan, Morocco, France…and now, the United Kingdom!
The UK pavilion is a really fun and interesting pavilion full of good eats, shopping, and entertainment. Let’s go explore!
Dining
When I think of British food, one of the first things that come to mind is fish and chips. If you are a fish fan, you will want to head over to Yorkshire County Fish Shop. They serve up some delicious battered fish served with piping-hot chips. You can also enjoy refreshing soft drinks and “draught” beer—including Bass Ale and Harp Lager.
Rose & Crown Pub is one of the more popular spots to dine in the UK pavilion. It’s a pub where you can practice your finest toast while you quench your thirst and quell your appetite with fresh pints, flavorful bites, and classic British fare you won’t find elsewhere in the park.
If you’re hankering for a good pint, another place to mosey on over to is the UK Beer Cart. This convenient cart is parked right outside the Rose and Crown Pub & Dining Room.
Shopping
Shopping in the UK pavilion is so much fun! In every store, you’ll find something new and exciting, and they have some of the best souvenirs to take home! At Crown and Crest you can get a UK crest on a mug or your family coat of arms on a plaque. Shop Beatles bric-a-brac, Rose & Crown merchandise, and more.
I am a big tea drink (pinkies up!), so the first time I ever went to The Tea Caddy, I was overjoyed by how many tea options there were! Here you can find everything you need to brew the perfect cuppa with Twinings tea and tea accessories and browse British sweets, cookies, and royal memorabilia.
At Lords & Ladies, you will browse a really great collection of English perfumes, hand-made soaps, fragrant creams, and accessories for men and women. It’s such a cute little shop, and you will have a jolly good time exploring this cute little shop!
Entertainment
If you love British bands like The Beatles, then you’ll love Command Entertainment! They perform British rock from the 1960s through the 1990s in the United Kingdom gazebo.
